Christine Solomon has joined the cast of Fakers, the TV movie in preproduction at Cité-Amérique for The Movie Network and Movie Central.

The Egypt-born, Montreal-bred actress -- also to be seen this fall in Heliopolis at both the Toronto and Vancouver film festivals -- will play an exotic dancer who upsets a counterfeiting scheme by two teens, played by Greyston Holt (Durham County) and Andrew Francis (The L Word).

Solomon is represented by Angie Sakla-Seymour at Angie's Model and Talent.

Fakers is produced by Greg Dummett (Last Casino, Lost and Delirious) and directed by Pierre Gill (Last Casino) from a script by Jesse McKeown (Robson Arms). It is due to air in the spring.
