Montreal: Femmes du cinema et de la television et de la video de Montreal is inaugurating a "happy hour" workshop series entitled "Knowledge is Power."

The opening Jan. 20 session on "New Trends in Animation" features Madeleine Levesque, director, original production, Teletoon. A second Feb. 24 session on "The Importance of Casting and Packaging" features Andrea Kenyon and Myriam Vezina of Andrea Kenyon and Associates. Cinar Corp. vp/general counsel Marie-Josee Corbeil and others will speak at a March 24 workshop on "The Importance of Coproductions."

All sessions start at 5:30 p.m. and are being held at Marche Movenpick, Salon Bistro in Place Ville Marie.
