City takes QT online
by: Feb 7, 2000 Print

Citytv's new QT-QueerTelevision, a weekly, half-hour, magazine-style program dedicated to the lives and loves of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community, will premier on City and CablePulse 24 on March 5, and will also be streamed exclusively on San Francisco-based planetout.com.

After each broadcast on the site, producer/presenter Irshad Manji will prompt regular discussions with viewers, fostering an interactive element for the show.

Spawned from CP24's ground-breaking The Q-Files, the first 20 episodes of qt will offer viewers investigative reports, fun features and profiles of the innovators, trendsetters and everyday people who make up the gay community, as well as tips on where to eat, dance, shop, travel, and how to save taxes, stay healthy, etc.
