Thirty emerging tv professionals have been awarded fellowships to attend the 21st Banff Television Festival, thanks to the support of ctv. tva will award an additional 10 fellowships in support of French projects.

This year's ctv fellows include the 10 graduates of the Canadian Film Centre's national television resident program, Prime Time, a three-month, intensive, team-based approach to series development.

Currently in its 12th year, the ctv fellowship covers transportation and full registration to the festival including admission to all seminars, workshops, screenings and social events.

The Banff Television Festival 2000 takes place in Banff, Alta., June 11-16. Samantha Yaffe
