The Alliance for Children and Television has announced that its 2006 awards will honor excellence in French-language Canadian kids TV.
Qualifying shows must have been originally produced and broadcast in French, with first airdates in 2004 or 2005. There are no program category or age group restrictions, except that the target audience must be more than two years.
Ten awards will be handed out at a gala in Montreal on June 1, in categories including best accompanying website, emerging talent, and lifetime achievement.
March 3 is the deadline for nomination applications. More information is available on the ACT website.
