* Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films and Television and Teleimages France are at work on a third season (26 x 30) of the animated Atomic Betty, at the Atomic studio in Vancouver.

* Temple Street Productions is making a second season (10 x 30) of Billable Hours, now under showrunner Frank van Keeken.

* Bruce McDonald is directing a pilot for The Dark Room - a one-hour thriller from exec producers Jon Slan, A.P. Kelly and Francesca Palozzi - in Toronto for CBC.

* Vancouver Film Studios is hosting Babylon 5: The Lost Tales, a one-hour DVD release based on the sci-fi series, due through Warner Bros. Creator J. Michael Straczynski directs returning cast Bruce Boxleitner and Tracy Scoggins.

* Radical Sheep Productions is developing Stella and Sam, based on the books by Marie-Louise Gay, into a cartoon series for Treehouse.
