Darius Films (The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico) and Cirrus Productions (C.R.A.Z.Y.) are partway through shooting the oddball comedy Hank and Mike, about the misadventures of two foul-mouthed Easter Bunnies. Paolo Mancini and Thomas Michael star - reviving characters introduced almost 10 years ago on The Comedy Network - alongside Joe Mantegna (The Simpsons) and Wes Bentley (Ghost Rider).

"Like most producers, I have read many scritps about unemployed Easter Bunnies," says producer Nicholas Tabarrok of Darius Films, "but this one is by far better than all the others."

Shooting wraps in Toronto in early March, with Christal Films planning a release in 2008. Shoreline Entertainment is handling international sales.
